  • Taichung Park

  • Miyahara

    Originally an eye hospital in the Japanese Colonial Period, this site became deserted after the hospital moved away. In recent years, renovations by the famous specialty store in Taichung has seen this site become an emerging tourist attraction selling food, ice cream, beverages and specialty gifts.

  • Chung Yo Department Store

    As the most famous department store in Taichung, Chung Yo Department Store has three connected buildings. Its themed bathrooms have been features in the Times. It is quite a spectacle and people go there especially to take photos.

    Yizhong Street (Yi-Chung Bazaar) is surrounded by several schools, including National Taichung University of Science and Technology, Taichung First Senior high School, China Medical University, and National Taiwan University of Sport. Therefore, crowds of people gather here, forming a commercial district. It is convenient for shopping and dining.
